£10 a month. The first month costs nothing and you can stop whenever you like.

  • When someone asks for a cake near you, you get their name, email and phone. Free listings see the request but not who sent it.
  • Any request we held back for you in the last 30 days is sent in full the day you switch on.
  • Your bakery comes first on its town and county pages, ahead of the free listings.
  • Your online ordering link shows as a button on the listing.

Questions people ask

How do I find a cake maker near me?

Type your town or postcode area into the search box, or pick your county from the list. Each listing shows the town, what the bakery makes and the contact details we hold, so you can get in touch with them directly.

Do you bake or sell the cakes?

No. The Cake Collection is a directory. You order from the bakery itself, and price, flavours, delivery and collection are agreed between you and them.

Is it free to use?

Yes. Searching the directory and contacting a bakery costs you nothing. Every bakery is listed for free. The site is commercial: bakeries can pay £10 a month, with the first month free, to manage their listing and receive enquiries, and paid listings are labelled and shown first.

How far ahead should I order a birthday or wedding cake?

It depends on the maker and the season, so ask when you first get in touch. Small independents take a limited number of orders each week, and wedding cakes are usually booked well before the date.

Is the information up to date?

Bakeries can claim their listing and change their details at any time. If you spot something out of date, tell us through the contact page and we will look at it.

I run a bakery. How do I get listed?

Search for your business first: there is a good chance it is already here. If it is, claim it; if it is not, use the "List my bakery" page and we will add it.
